EPCOR Water Services is hiring a full-time temporary Administrative Support, Program Administration to join our Linear Asset Services team. This position is based at our Aurum Facility site in Edmonton and is expected to last up to 8 months.

The Administrative Support position provides administrative and financial support for Linear Assets programs, helping ensure efficient, consistent, and effective service delivery. Key responsibilities include coordinating procurement, purchase orders, invoicing, and work order processes, supporting cost recovery and program improvement initiatives, and providing responsive support to internal stakeholders. This role may also support the Flood Prevention Inspection program and contributes to operational excellence through strong collaboration, accountability, and customer service.

What you'd be responsible for

In the role of Administrative Support, you are accountable to the Manager, Program Administration and will have the following key accountabilities (but are not limited to these):

  • Provide input into Program Administration planning and priorities, while fostering effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare, process, and maintain purchase requisitions and draw-down purchase orders (POs), ensuring accurate records and timely resolution of order and invoice issues.
  • Provide invoicing and receiving support by coordinating approvals, processing transactions in Oracle, monitoring on-hold reports, and investigating discrepancies.
  • Manage the lifecycle of draw-down POs, including creation, monitoring usage, coordinating top-ups, and completing year-end closures.
  • Create and maintain work orders and related work requests in IVARA for Fleet Services.
  • Support the Bulk Water Fill Program through account management, customer service, and billing administration in the Flowpoint system.
  • Contribute to purchasing, invoicing, cost recovery, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance program efficiency and service delivery.
  • Support the Flood Prevention Program by coordinating inspection schedules, responding to customer inquiries, and processing backwater valve subsidy applications.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for events, projects, and other Program Administration activities as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma (GED orcompletion ofequivalentlevel of secondary education).
  • Minimum 3 years related experience.
  • Previous experience providing administrative support in a large-scale operational environment would be considered an asset.
  • Previous customer service experience is an asset

Technical Skills:

  • Oracle - Use iProcurement modules for time and work data entry and purchase requisitions and monitoring.
  • IVARA - To create and manage Work Order, Work Requests, pull monthly reports
  • Microsoft Office suite - with a focus on Excel for tracking various POs and budgets.
  • Share Point - To use and manage Sharepoint lists for record keeping and management
