The impact you’ll make

As a Business Systems Analyst at Lam, you'll analyze complex business problems and craft automated system solutions for work related to our global digital transformation. You'll bridge gaps, provide technical expertise to translate business requirements into functional system specifications. Your contributions within dynamic cross‑functional teams are essential in supporting Lam’s Digital transformation journey.

What you’ll do
  • Deliver business process improvements based on industry trends, business knowledge, expertise, and by fostering cutting‑edge approaches.
  • Establish methods to facilitate requirements gathering through process mapping workshops, interviews, as‑is and to‑be analysis, and other techniques.
  • Translate and document business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, and diagrams to solve significant or unique business problems.
  • Clearly articulate the impact of business problems, benefits, and the business case.
  • Prioritize business requirements and recommend changes to meet business expectations.
  • Lead cross‑functional projects with technical, functional, and business teams, as well as vendors, to manage implementations.
  • Perform and lead hands‑on solution design, prototyping, proof‑of‑concept development, and process design in support of current and new projects.
  • Assess the risks of various solutions across multiple applications.
Who we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience; or a Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience; or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Architect, or in a similar role within a large, complex enterprise environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with various levels and audiences.
  • Skilled in analytical techniques and practices to support problem‑solving.
Preferred qualifications
  • Project management knowledge or experience is beneficial.
  • Detail‑oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Experience with SQL and databases.
