The impact you'll make
As a Business Operations Analyst at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Global Planning & Operations organization. Leveraging strong analytical methodologies, you will provide data-driven insights that enable decision-makers to address gaps, resolve issues, and achieve critical business objectives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will evaluate business performance across the Global Planning & Operations organization, assess business processes, and identify root causes of performance challenges. Your work will directly support continuous improvement initiatives, enable informed business decisions, and deliver measurable operational results.
  • Track and report operational performance against targets.
  • Lead regular operations reviews to ensure adherence to established KPIs.
  • Identify gaps and connect them to systems and processes.
  • Assess risks and highlight potential issues.
  • Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Communicate process gaps across local and global teams.
  • Drive process improvements across functions.
  • Ensure adherence to analytics standards.
  • Lead and coordinate complex cross-functional intiatives to completion.

An ideal Operations Analyst is:

Who we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field, with 7 years experience; or 5 years experience with a Master's degree; or Ph.D with no experience.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in business operations, operational performance management, program management, or a related role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with experience influencing stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success working in fast-paced global working environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power BI and other analytics tools

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
