Job Summary: The Test Automation Analyst implements, executes, and maintains both manual and automated test processes. This individual is responsible for performing black‑box and white‑box testing, developing tests within existing test harnesses, and applying them across automated and manual workflows. They will assist in creating test strategies for new product releases, working closely with software development teams throughout the development cycle. Additionally, this individual will recommend design improvements to enhance test coverage and increase the effectiveness of automated testing.

Reporting Relationship: Manager, Testing

Shift: General business hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm CST. This hybrid role requires a combination of weekly on-campus and remote work with specific days varying based on departmental policy and business need. Generally, all positions may be fully performed on-campus in Mission, KS. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.

Scope of the Role:

  • Maintain and execute coded UI tests and unit tests using Microsoft Visual Studio, Playwright and Silk Test
  • Develop reliable, maintainable automated tests that are fast, stable, and scalable
  • Build a deep understanding of product functionality and how clients use the system
  • Diagnose, track, and manage quality issues through full resolution
  • Create and maintain data generation processes for managing test cases, test data, and results
  • Collaborate closely with software development teams to debug and resolve test‑related issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
  • 1+ years experience testing or developing applications built on Microsoft technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to write black‑box, system, and UI test cases, with a strong understanding of risk‑based test design
  • Understanding of the role of testing within quality‑driven Agile development environments
  • Strong analytical, engineering, or mathematical background with the ability to approach complex problems methodically and logically
  • Advanced problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities, with a track record of identifying root causes and driving issues to resolution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail, demonstrating consistency, accuracy, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL)
  • Familiarity with Team Foundation Server and Microsoft Test Manager
  • Experience with JavaScript and C#
  • Hands‑on experience utilizing AI tools to accelerate development, troubleshooting and documentation
