We are seeking both full-time and part-time Licensed Physical Therapists at Stability Pilates and Physical Therapy of Atlanta in Sandy Springs, Ga. As a Licensed Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy services in a one on one setting, developing treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals and staff to optimize patient care.
Stability provides a wide range of services, including one-on-one physical therapy, private and small group pilates, virtual consultations, women's health, individualized gait analysis and trigger point dry needling. All therapy services are performed by fully-licensed physical therapists, and private and group Pilates instruction is done by STOTT PILATES®, Polestar Pilates® or other nationally recognized trained/certified instructors. This full spectrum of services covers treatment from chronic pain and acute injury to high-level sport-specific training for healthy athletes.
Stability Pilates and Physical Therapy opened in March 2010 in a 3,300 square foot facility in Sandy Springs, just North of the Atlanta perimeter. Our studio is within walking distance to residences, dining and retail establishments. We are a female-owned and operated business, and we value the importance of your work-life balance!
Duties
- Treat one patient per hour.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
Qualifications
- Valid GA state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy practices and techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to assess and treat various conditions and injuries
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- Attention to detail and compassion for patients
- CPR Certification
- Dry needling certification a plus
- Pilates certification/training a plus, not required
