• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health conditions through interviews and observation, aiming to understand their history and current challenges.
• Provide individualized therapeutic services to diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans, regularly evaluating clients' progress and adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of clinical records, ensuring compliance with organizational protocols and state regulations.
• Engage patients and family members in the treatment process; facilitate family sessions to foster understanding and resolution.
• Serve as an advocate for clients in crisis situations, providing immediate intervention and facilitating connections to additional support resources.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and receiving feedback to enhance therapeutic approaches and client care.
• Actively pursue ongoing professional development through training and education to stay abreast of advancements in therapeutic techniques and practices.

The therapist will work with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, couples, and families from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. The focus is on providing a safe and nurturing environment where patients can explore their concerns, develop healthy coping strategies, and work towards achieving emotional stability and healthier relationships.

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license issued by the State of California.
• In-depth understanding of LMFT ethics, therapeutic practices, and state regulations governing mental health professionals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
• Strong organizational capabilities, ensuring effective time management and prioritization in a remote work setting.
• Experience in crisis intervention and an ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking client progress.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in providing therapy, specifically in outpatient settings.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy practices.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
