Greystone Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and culturally competent Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team on a full-time basis. • Observe and assess intra-familial dynamics to identify underlying issues affecting relationships and individual well-being.
• Facilitate open discussions with clients to clarify their perceptions regarding familial disruptions, emphasizing active engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Identify and connect clients with environmental resources that can enhance their healing journey.
• Uncover hidden factors contributing to dysfunction within family systems, and employ therapeutic strategies to address these challenges effectively.
• Support clients through processing grief and other emotional burdens, providing coping strategies tailored to their unique experiences.
• Advise families on establishing stable home and academic environments, which are crucial for fostering healthy development.
• Prepare detailed and professional reports that serve as expert evidence during legal proceedings when necessary.
• Provide balanced and reliable expert testimony, ensuring clarity and support for client cases.

Our clientele consists of diverse groups, including individuals, couples, and families facing various relational difficulties. • A master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid LMFT license in the state of Nevada, ensuring compliance with the regulatory standards of practice.
• Completion of at least one year of supervised clinical hours, fulfilling state guidelines for therapeutic practice.
• Demonstrated proficiency in offering individual, couples, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based techniques.
• Strong diagnostic and assessment skills to effectively evaluate a range of mental health and relational issues.
• Capability to design and implement comprehensive treatment plans that cater to the specific needs and goals of clients.
