  • Ongoing opportunities for professional development, consultation, and clinical support
  • Meaningful work that allows you to make a lasting impact in the lives of individuals, couples, and families

Contractors with Light Counseling are expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality while adhering to all applicable federal and state privacy laws, including HIPAA. Clinicians are expected to exercise sound clinical judgment, maintain accurate documentation, and practice in accordance with all licensing board requirements, ethical standards, and company policies.

Clinical Care

  • Provide remote counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups
  • Conduct clinical assessments, establish diagnoses when appropriate, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions while integrating Christian faith when clinically appropriate and desired by the client
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as needed
  • Refer clients to appropriate community resources or specialty providers when necessary
  • Respond appropriately to crisis situations following clinical and organizational protocols

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state licensing regulations, payer requirements, and company policies
  • Complete treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation within established timeframes
  • Maintain current licensure, CAQH profile, professional liability insurance, and all required credentialing documentation

Collaboration & Professional Development

  • Collaborate with clinical leadership, administrative staff, and fellow clinicians to support continuity of care

  • Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
