GRAPHIC DESIGNER SENIOR
GDIT is seeking a Graphic Designer / Video Producer specialist with an advanced visualization skillset.


MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
Responsible for a wide variety of designs, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, graphs, charts, logos, and layouts for information visualization and standardizing all publications and outreach materials.
Responsible for delivering creative ideas in representing data in a meaningful, visual way that users can interpret and easily comprehend intuitively. This includes data visualizations and dashboards.
Assisting with updating, creating, and supporting databases and reports with key illustrated metrics to guide strategic decisions.
Responsible for delivering creative ideas and following through with compelling graphics, charts, and multimedia visuals to enhance print and digital content.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Graphic Designer Senior must have:
Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
Experience: 5+ years of related experience

Expert skills in modern graphic design, infographic design, videographic skills, and basic copy-editing skills

Creating and editing visual content of high-level information conveyance (strategic plans, briefings)

Elevating and standardizing the full range of all print and digital publications (annual report, audit and inspections reports, outreach flyers, websites, etc.)

Creating budgetary tracking and information visualization

Working closely with the leadership team and data analytics team to help promote and enhance content including reports, briefs, and visual data

Develop a style guide in partnership with editor

Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly
US citizenship required

Location: On Site

Shift: Monday - Friday Day

Knowledge of:

Principles of graphic design, data visualization, and graphic design standards for the production of complex, custom information graphics.

Graphic design/development software to illustrate abstract ideas, complex data and concepts and to depict highly technical subject matter.

The ability to provide guidance on:

Translating abstract ideas and concepts into clear visual representation.

Developing comprehensive layouts for review, comment, and final approval.

Interpreting, analyzing, organizing and transforming information from statistical information, report notes, or general descriptions to be visually depicted into creative design solutions that effectively communicate the customers objectives and requirements.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $114,750 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
