Job Description

Benchmark International's global headquarters in Tampa is seeking an experienced and innovative
Training Content Developer to join our team. Working directly with the Operations Department, this
role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging learning experiences that
support employee onboarding, professional development, sales enablement, and operational
excellence across the organization.

Working closely with subject matter experts and department leaders, the Training Content
Developer will transform complex business processes, M&A concepts, and operational knowledge
into high-quality instructional content delivered through multiple learning formats. This position
plays a key role in supporting Benchmark's commitment to developing exceptional talent while
ensuring consistent, scalable training across our global organization.

Job Responsibilities

Your experience in creating engaging learning experiences and instructional content will be a valuable
resource for the Benchmark team. As a Training Content Developer, your responsibilities will
include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and eLearning training
programs that support employee onboarding, role-specific development, compliance, and
    continuing education.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across M&A, Marketing, Operations, Human
Resources, Technology, and Executive Leadership to gather information and develop
    accurate, engaging learning content.
  • Translate complex business concepts, financial terminology, and operational processes into
    learner-focused instructional materials.
  • Create SCORM-compliant eLearning courses using authoring tools such as Articulate 360,
    iSpring Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Develop facilitator guides, participant workbooks, presentations, job aids, reference guides,
    assessments, quizzes, and knowledge checks.
  • Maintain training documentation, version control, and learning content libraries within
    Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
  • Develop onboarding curriculum for new hires and ongoing professional development
programs for employees across multiple departments.
  • Partner with department leadership to identify training needs, evaluate learning
effectiveness, and continuously improve instructional content.
  • Support the development of internal communications, process documentation, and
knowledge management resources as organizational needs evolve.
  • Utilize modern AI-assisted content development tools, including Claude, ChatGPT,
NotebookLM, and similar technologies, to improve efficiency and enhance learning
    materials.
  • Stay current on instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, learning
    technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures while performing additional
    duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate is an organized, creative professional with strong instructional design, technical
writing, and project management skills. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities,
collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, and producing polished learning
experiences that support employee success.

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Technical Communication,
Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of business professional instructional design, learning and development,
corporate training, or curriculum development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing instructor-led and eLearning training programs for
    adult learners.
  • Experience creating SCORM-compliant courses using Articulate 360, iSpring Suite, or
    comparable authoring software.
  • Strong instructional writing, editing, and visual presentation skills.
  • Portfolio demonstrating instructional design projects, eLearning modules, or training
    curriculum.
  • Experience working within Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Learning Management Systems
    (LMS).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and
    deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all
    levels of the organization.
  • Experience using modern AI tools for content development, including Claude, ChatGPT,
    NotebookLM, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and related productivity applications.
  • Experience developing sales training, professional services training, financial services
training, or corporate onboarding programs is preferred.
  • Ability to work full-time in the office as this is not a remote or hybrid position.
  • Professional business attire is required.

Salary

This position will receive an annual salary of $75,000 to $100,000 commensurate with experience,
qualifications, and performance throughout the interview process.
