We are seeking a visionary and execution-oriented Chief Information Officer (CIO) to help lead the next phase of growth for a nationally operating, Midwest-based organization.
The CIO will provide enterprise leadership for technology strategy, cybersecurity, digital enablement, data and analytics, enterprise systems, infrastructure, and technology operations. As a strategic business partner to senior leadership, this leader will align technology capabilities with organizational priorities to support growth, operational excellence, innovation, workforce productivity, customer value, and enterprise resilience.

What You'll Lead
This role is responsible for:
   Technology strategy and vision - developing and leading the enterprise technology roadmap and operating strategy in alignment with business goals
   AI and productivity transformation - evaluating and guiding the adoption of artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics to improve productivity and business outcomes
   Cybersecurity leadership - advancing a proactive cybersecurity strategy that strengthens governance, risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident preparedness
   Scalable technology operations - ensuring secure, reliable, and business-focused delivery across enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud services, networking, end-user computing, and service delivery
   Data and analytics enablement - building trusted information, governance, reporting, and analytics capabilities that improve decision-making
   Enterprise modernization - leading organizational change and process improvement to support long-term scalability, security, and operational efficiency
   Executive partnership - serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on technology opportunities, risks, investments, and innovation

Qualifications
   Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in information systems, computer science, business, engineering, or a related field
   10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including senior leadership responsibility for enterprise systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or digital transformation
   Strong knowledge of enterprise technology strategy, cybersecurity governance, cloud platforms, infrastructure operations, data governance, vendor management, business continuity, and digital enablement
   Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, influence executive stakeholders, and translate business strategy into practical technology outcomes
   Exceptional leadership, communication, financial, analytical, and relationship management skills
   Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile environment with sound judgment, professionalism, confidentiality, and servant leadership

Additional Information
Travel: Travel will be required and will vary according to business requirements. Up to 20% may be expected. 

Location: This position may be based out of our Sioux Falls, SD, Sioux Center, IA, or Omaha, NE offices.

Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $175K - $250K + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.
