While you will primarily work from your home office, you will engage with colleagues through video conferencing and other digital communication tools, ensuring consistent team collaboration and connection.

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions, incorporating a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's needs.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the treatment team and community agencies to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Participate in case management discussions with psychiatric staff, providing insights that inform client care and treatment modifications.
• Facilitate educational sessions for clients, families, and community groups to enhance their understanding of mental health and wellness.
• Evaluate and research new methods and approaches for addressing emotional and environmental obstacles faced by clients.
• Refer clients to relevant community resources and support services, maximizing their access to additional care when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Perform other duties as required to fulfill the mission of Reflective Space Counseling Services and improve client outcomes.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing mental health challenges and substance use disorders. The populations served reflect a rich tapestry of cultural backgrounds, necessitating a strong commitment to culturally competent and sensitive care.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.
• Current, independent licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and exhibit professionalism when interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with clients and the broader community.
• Highly organized with a keen ability to manage multiple cases and maintain comprehensive documentation.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies.
• Experience working within community mental health services and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in a virtual or remote healthcare setting is highly regarded.

Reflective Space Counseling Services offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually for this full-time position.
