• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to accurately evaluate clients' mental health needs and challenges, utilizing standardized screening tools and interviews.
• Develop detailed, personalized treatment plans that align with clients' individual goals, addressing varied mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
• Continuously monitor and document clients' progress towards their treatment goals, adjusting plans as necessary to maximize effectiveness and responsiveness to client needs.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues and encouraging active participation in treatment.

You will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a myriad of mental health challenges. Your role is pivotal in creating a safe and respectful environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences. You will employ culturally sensitive approaches to address the unique needs of each individual, demonstrating a commitment to diversity and inclusivity in practice.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of California is required.
• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is essential.
• Demonstrated training or experience in mental health counseling techniques, particularly in online therapy.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A strong ethical foundation and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

• Prior experience delivering telehealth services is strongly preferred, as is familiarity with major telehealth platforms.
• Experience working in settings that provide support to children and families is advantageous.
• Background in evidence-based therapeutic practices and experience with documentation and case management systems.

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 115,000 and 130,000 per year, commensurate with your experience.
