About this Role:

Synergy is seeking a dynamic and innovative Sr. Capture Manager to directly support growth efforts across the company. As a senior member of the growth team, this highly visible position will work directly with the Synergy executive team, program teams, and technology partners to lead our most important pursuits, develop strategy, and drive business growth. The Sr. Capture Manager will evaluate and lead all aspects of assigned pursuits ranging from quick-turn task orders to major $100M+ single award pursuits.

This is a hybrid role; candidates must be available for in-person work 3 days a week and occasional onsite meetings and client engagements as needed. Occasional non-local travel of up to 25% is expected. Relocation options are not available at this time.

Required Qualifications and Experience:    
  • Demonstrated experience leading and winning at least $250M (lifetime) in single award, prime, competitive task orders as measured in TCV.   
  • Demonstrated success leading at least 5 prime, competitive, single award task order/new contract wins of >$25M.  
  • Experience leading Agile application development, PaaS, and IT modernization pursuits.  
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:  
  • 3+ years as a capture manager at a large system integrator.
  • 3+ years as a capture manager at a small/mid-size business.  
  • 3+ years pursuing application development and modernization work.  
  • Bachelor's degree.  
Desired Professional Skills and Qualifications: 
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.  
  • Must be comfortable briefing senior executives. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. 
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.  
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications and CRM tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, etc.). 
 
Target Salary Range
Compensation for roles at Synergy is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the requirements of the role; level of experience; education and certifications; the individual’s combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities; as well as alignment with market data, federal and state laws, and other business and contract considerations. The estimated pay range for this position is: $200,00 – $250,000. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and represent just one component of Synergy’s total compensation package for employees.
