  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement; communicate findings clearly to clients
  • Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Coordinate with internal and external tax CPAs, and external auditors
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready client files and documentation
  • Proactively identify and communicate accounting issues or irregularities to senior team members
  • Stay current on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and best practices
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and client service delivery

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strongly Preferred

  • Active CPA license or CPA candidate
  • Experience in a client-facing or outsourced accounting (CAS) environment
  • Familiarity with bill.com, Gusto, ADP, or similar platforms
