From its Home Office in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, Empire Beauty School continues providing high-quality education and training to future beauty professionals for rewarding careers in the beauty industry. The goal of every Empire Beauty School employee is to support students through every phase of their education, graduation, and career placement. Providing opportunities for others and maintaining excellence in education is the cornerstone of the company and has been from the beginning.
About the Position:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and student-focused Career Success Advisor to support student success outcomes across our schools. This role works directly with school teams, students, graduates, and industry partners to promote successful graduation, licensure, and placement outcomes while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include coordinating graduation orientation activities, supporting licensure processes, verifying and maintaining placement and licensure records, and ensuring compliance with accrediting and regulatory requirements. The Career Success Advisor also assists with career fairs, advisory committee meetings, employer outreach, and other student success initiatives designed to create employment opportunities for students and alumni.
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - 25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Our ideal candidate has:
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required, advanced education is preferred
  • 2-3 years of customer service and/or office management experience is required
  • Experience in the beauty industry is preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of outcome expectations from the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences is desirable
  • A combination of relevant education and/or experience may be considered
  • High-level organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet time-sensitive deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a strong customer service focus
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and virtual communication platforms
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills with students, graduates, employers, and school teams
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and represent the organization positively both internally and externally
