Job description

Overview

Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Linthicum Heights, MD | Behavioral Innovations

Become the BCBA You Wanted to Be

SALARY: $95,000-$140,000 per year

JOB TYPE: Full-time

LOCATION: Linthicum Heights, MD

Lead clinical quality, mentor BCBAs, and shape ABA care across Maryland.

$95,000-$140,000 + up to $40K retention + $10K sign-on or relocation bonus + performance bonus

We asked BCBAs what actually matters to them. Then we built it.

  • A caseload you can actually manage: 8 - 10 enrolled children typically
  • A mentor in your corner: Area Clinical Leaders in your center every week, not on a virtual call
  • Peers you can connect with: 300+ BCBAs across 6 states you can actually talk to
  • Less admin work: Dedicated center staff handle scheduling, billing, and staffing logistics
  • Case support: Structured consultation and high-level clinical access when you need it
  • CEUs without hunting: Monthly CEUs, national conference, academic partnerships
  • A path forward and upward: A defined career ladder that focuses on one thing – your growth as a clinician

Time Off, Work Schedule & Workload

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Almost 30 days off annually. Actually off. 20 days PTO plus 7 paid holidays. CEU days, conferences, company events, and training don't count toward that number. Time off means time off.
  • Manageable Caseloads: Caseload is typically capped at 8-10 enrolled children. Dedicated Center Administrators handle scheduling logistics, so your time stays focused on clinical work.

Education and Career Growth

  • 6 weeks of structured onboarding and ongoing training for new BCBAs
  • A defined career trajectory. BCBA → Senior BCBA → Clinical Specialist → Clinical Mentor → Master Clinician → Senior Director of Clinical Services → Area Director of Clinical Services → Regional Director of Operations
  • Clinical education that keeps up: Access to a full CEU library, 30+ hours of live CEUs annually, and additional CEUs at our annual BCBA conference.
  • University partnerships with tuition reimbursements
  • Company-paid state licensure renewal
  • Company-paid supervision training

Benefits: Full benefits package, including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision
  • 401(k) with eligibility from day one
  • FSA and supplemental coverage options
  • Short and long-term disability
  • Employee assistance program
  • Referral bonuses

Why we are center-based and why we're direct about it.

  • We don't offer hybrid or home-based. The clinicians who grow fastest do it through real-time coaching, daily peer collaboration, and immediate access to senior clinical leadership. That requires being in the center.
  • If schedule flexibility is your top priority, this role isn't the right fit.
  • If becoming a stronger clinician with defined career growth is, then let’s chat.

You need:

  • Active BCBA certification
  • Maryland licensure (or eligibility prior to start)
