Job description

Virtual Assistant — Marketing & Events (Part-Time, ~5 hrs/week)

About the Role
Our client is a boutique fashion consulting and lifestyle brand. They're looking for a reliable, creative part-time VA to help bring their marketing and events to life — turning their ideas and content into polished visuals, keeping events organized, and helping them show up prepared for meetings and presentations. This is a flexible, low-hours role — a great fit if you're looking to add a steady part-time client to your schedule.

What You'll Do
  • Design social content, visual covers, and marketing assets in Canva using the client's existing templates and content
  • Edit short videos and Reels
  • List and manage events on Eventbrite and the company website
  • Draft proposals and build presentation decks (client presents twice a year)
  • Help organize and curate information for the client's AI-assisted workflow
  • Support coordination for 4 major yearly events (California, Los Cabos, Toronto, Houston)
  • Take notes and track action items during meetings
  • Occasionally help set up AV/presentation equipment for in-person events in Toronto (2 events this fall)
What We're Looking For
  • 1–4 years of relevant marketing, events, or executive/virtual assistant experience
  • Comfortable and quick in Canva; bonus points for a good eye for visual design
  • Experience with Eventbrite, Squarespace, Calendly, and Google Suite
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing a few moving pieces at once
  • A warm, human-first communication style — this client values humility, grace, and respect in how they work with people
  • Based in or near Toronto and available for occasional in-person events (preferred, not required for every task)
Details
  • Pay: $25/hour
  • Hours: ~5 hours/week, flexible — more structure around event dates
  • Start date: September (ideal)
  • Schedule note: expect a pause in December and possibly January
  • Format: Remote with occasional in-person work in Toronto
  • Remote (mostly), with occasional in-person work in Toronto
How to Apply
This role is being placed through Dabbl. Reach out to your Dabbl contact to be considered, or apply through Dabbl's candidate portal referencing Job Reference JL552659728.
