Early Learners Teacher - Reading, Phonics & Math 

Location: Oxford Learning North York at the Lawrence Plaza

Job Type: Part-Time

About Us:

At Oxford Learning North York at the Lawrence Plaza, we are passionate about nurturing young learners. Our programs emphasize foundational skills in reading, phonics, and math, fostering confidence and a love of learning in children. We also value versatility in our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach early reading, phonics, and math to children in kindergarten and early elementary grades.
  • Create a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to individual needs.
  • Follow the Oxford Learning curriculum and teaching methods to deliver high-quality lessons.
  • Provide feedback on student progress through Lesson Planner Reviews (LPRs).

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with young children in teaching, coaching, or after-school settings.
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) certification is a strong asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for connecting with young learners.
  • Passionate about education and helping children thrive academically and personally.

Schedule / Availability:

  • Monday-Thursday 3:00-8:00 pm and Saturdays 9:30 am -2:00 pm

Salary: $19-20 / hour
