Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
Schedule:
  • Temporary, On-Call - As Needed
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Estimated Hours: 8-15 hours per week, based on clinic and patient needs

Your Role in Action
The Clinical Assistant supports Health Bridge's first-of-its-kind telehealth dentistry program by serving as the in-person link between patients at federally funded clinics and a remote licensed dentist. This role is patient-facing, detail-oriented, and critical to delivering a seamless, personal virtual care experience from greeting through documentation.
This is an as-needed, on-call position designed primarily to provide coverage support - stepping in for scheduled shifts when full-time Clinical Assistants are out or unavailable. It's a great fit for someone who wants flexible, variable hours and is ready to step in on short notice to keep clinic operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide reliable, on-call coverage for scheduled shifts when full-time Clinical Assistants are unavailable due to call-outs, time off, or other absences
  • Serve as the in-person link between the patient and the remote licensed dentist during live telehealth dental evaluations
  • Guide the intraoral camera in real time while the dentist remotely observes, interacts, and conducts the evaluation
  • Facilitate a warm, seamless virtual introduction between the patient and the remote dentist
  • Build genuine rapport with patients, many of whom have had limited access to dental care, creating a welcoming and reassuring environment
  • Collect medical histories and capture diagnostic data for dentist review
  • Organize and maintain patient records accurately and in compliance with HIPAA
  • Maintain thorough documentation while demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality at all times
  • Support patient flow and ensure clinic readiness at the assigned site
  • Collaborate with the remote dentist, clinic staff, and care team

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working directly with patients
  • Ability to adapt to an on-call, as-needed schedule
  • Proof of current immunizations and TB screening
