THE JOB:
As a Valet Attendant, you'll be the first smiling face our guests see as they arrive, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. Your key responsibilities will include greeting guests with enthusiasm, parking and retrieving a variety of vehicles, and ensuring everyone starts their visit with exceptional service. THE STARTING RATE:
  • $13.16 per hour plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance while providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services
  • Collect a vehicle claim check and retrieve the guest's vehicle for their departure
  • Accommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid
  • Report issues and/or potential problems to security or immediate supervisor to avoid traffic congestion and delays at the valet entrance
  • Assist in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion
  • Answer guest questions about hotel registration, restaurants, events, activities, and attractions
  • Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority, otherwise refer to the supervisor on duty
  • Report all alleged thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or hotel security for further investigation
  • Assist bell persons with the movement of luggage as necessary

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Prior valet attendant experience preferred
  • Able to operate automatic and manual (stick shift) transmission vehicles preferred
  • Able to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Pay Rate:
The rate for this role is:
$13.16
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
