ROLE SUMMARY: The Seasonal Tour Guideis responsible fordelivering engaging, educational, and memorable experiences for guests visiting Cutwater Spirits. This role leads guided distillery tours, shares the Cutwater story and production process, hosts tastings when applicable, and supports retail operations in the tasting room. Tour Guides play a key role in brand storytelling, guest satisfaction, and driving retail revenue while upholding all safety and responsible alcohol service standards.This position works under the direction of the Tasting Room Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guest Experience & Tours

  • Lead informative and entertaining distillery tours, including Cutwater's history, distilling process, and product portfolio

  • Create a welcoming, engaging environment that turns guests into brand fans

  • Confidently answer guest questionsregardingthe distillery, tasting room and kitchen, products, events, and brand offerings

  • Personalize tours through storytelling, humor, and individual presentation style whilemaintainingaccuracy and brand standards

  • Monitor group behavior to ensure guest safety, especially when tours include children

  • Stay current on distillery operations, product launches, and on-site activity to enhance tour relevance

  • Lead specialty tour experiences (e.g.premium tastings, educational deep-dives, themed or seasonal tours) witha high levelof storytelling, brand knowledge, and guest engagement

  • Serve as an on-site host for private and public events as well as VIP experiences, supporting seamless execution from guest arrival through close

Tastings & Alcohol Service

  • Conduct tastings whenrequired, following all responsible alcohol service guidelines

  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and incorporate them into tour delivery

Retail & Revenue Generation

  • Support tasting room retail operations, including selling spirits to-go and branded merchandise

  • Maintain strong working knowledge of the POS system (Toast) to process transactions accurately and efficiently

  • Assistwithmaintainingretail organization, cleanliness, andappropriate stocklevels

  • Activelycontributeto increasing tasting room revenue through guest engagement and product knowledge

Operations & Team Support

  • Manage tour reservations using the designated reservation software and accommodate guest needs when possible

  • Share guest feedback with managementregardingtours, merchandise, and tasting room or kitchen experiences

  • Support the tasting room team during peak periods and downtime as needed

  • Uphold and exemplify Cutwater Spirits' core values, culture, and service standards
