Job description

Starting at $12.76 per hour | Requires flexibility to work various shifts
Perform the daily operations of Guest Services under the direction of the Guest Services Supervisor. Consistently provide excellent guest service by greeting and communicating with all guests in a professional, prompt, and courteous manner.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Greet and assist guests with enrollment, comping, point redemption and issuance in a friendly and courteous manner.
  2. Recruit and encourage new members by understanding and relaying the benefits of the program to guests.
  3. Act as the ambassador for the facility by greeting all guests who enter. Accurately explain current promotions to guests and encourage participation.
  4. Provide VIP services when scheduled to work in the Eagle Lounge. These services include: making hotel reservations, making event reservations, answering VIP phone calls, and other services as assigned.
  5. Provide direction and assistance to guests when requested. Support the services of other departments within the Casino (Food and Beverage, various gaming areas, Hotel).
  6. Be knowledgeable of all activities occurring at Potawatomi Carter Casino Hotel including marketing of operation, etc. to assist guests and fellow team members.
  7. Work with guests during floor promotions, special events or surveys.
  8. Attend meetings and training as required by the needs of the department.
  9. Ensure a maximum level of Team Member and guest service throughout the property in and out of the department.
  10. Maintain high levels of guest service, professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in all communication to our guests and about our guests, including financial data.
  11. Participate in special projects and all other duties as requested by marketing management.

Job Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  2. Basic computer experience is required.
  3. Ability to uphold complete confidentiality is required.
  4. Must display professionalism when representing Potawatomi Casino Hotel Carter.
  5. Must work well with people; must possess excellent guest service skills and sensitivity to diverse cultures.
  6. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accuracy is required.
  7. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations is necessary.
