We're seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Teacher to join our team at Little Blessings Preschool. Assistant Teacher (Part-Time)

Little Blessings Preschool – 5701 Raymond Road, Madison, WI

Start Date: Monday, April 13, 2026


Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
  • Hours: Afternoon classroom shift (exact schedule can be finalized during hiring)
  • Compensation: $18–$20 per hour, based on experience and education
  • Start Date: April 13, 2026
  • Status: Hourly, part-time

Qualified applicants will need to meet the following requirements:

We're looking for someone who is at least 21 years old, familiar with state licensing rules, and has a Registry certificate or Educator’s license to verify education, as well as a Registry level high enough to be in the classroom without supervision on occasion.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with lead teachers to create a positive, structured, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that promotes children’s growth and learning
  • Assist with daily routines, activities, and learning centers to support the children’s educational and social development
  • Develop strong relationships with children and provide consistent, compassionate care that meets their individual needs
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom that promotes a sense of community and well-being
  • Engage with children through play, conversation, and guided learning experiences that foster their curiosity and creativity
  • Work collaboratively with staff to uphold Little Blessings Preschool’s values, curriculum, and licensing standards

Requirements
  • Certified in CPR, Child CPR, AED and Shaken Baby Syndrome prevention training
  • Pass a health and fingerprint check
  • Have a Registry certificate or Educator’s license to verify education, meet the qualifications outlined in WI Licensing Rules DCF 251
  • Familiar with state licensing rules
  • At least 21 years of age
