Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Display Fabricator to join our production team. This role is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing a wide variety of custom interior and exterior displays. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in producing high-quality work that meets design specifications and production timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble displays and signage using materials such as acrylic, wood, metal, PVC, and vinyl
  • Perform vinyl application, including cutting, weeding, masking, and applying graphics to various surfaces
  • Assemble sign components including frames, dimensional letters, panels, and hardware
  • Apply finishes such as paint, laminates, clear coats, and adhesives
  • Read and interpret design drawings, work orders, and production specifications
  • Operate and maintain shop machinery and power tools such as saws, routers, drills, and sanders
  • Ensure fabricated products meet quality standards and client specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and installers to meet deadlines
  • Assist with packaging and preparing displays for installation or shipment as needed

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sign fabrication, woodworking, metalworking, or related manufacturing preferred
  • Strong skills in vinyl application and component assembly
  • Experience fabricating with acrylic, wood, metal, and plastics
  • Ability to operate machinery and power tools safely and effectively
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and written instructions
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to meet production deadlines
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Basic mechanical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn new tools, materials, and fabrication techniques
  • Experience with CNC routers, laser cutters, large-format printing or sign installation is a plus
