Job description

Job Title: Assistant Property Manager

Department: Multi-Family

Position Summary:

Provide support to the Multi-Family Property Manager.

Responsibilities/Skills/Duties:

  • Income collection: Maintain accurate resident records. Update all rents, deposits, and application fees received from residents and prospects daily. Issue appropriate notices for late payments, evictions, NSF checks, etc.
  • Complete daily deposits prior to bank closing.
  • Maintain a positive, caring attitude while dealing with prospects and residents.
  • Inspect models, vacant units, and common areas.
  • Work with residents on lease renewals monthly.
  • Answer the telephone, make appointments, assist with guest cards, greet prospects, show prospects, close, and follow up.
  • Assist with the completion of monthly competition market surveys.
  • Assist with accepting work order requests from residents and enter them into the computer service request report.
  • Record proper data concerning move in/move out dates, availability, status.
  • Process final account statements, filing, complete monthly required training courses, and other duties as necessary.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in multi-family.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient with use of computers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer satisfaction oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong team player.

Qualifications Desired:

  • OneSite software experience.
