At a Glance:

  • Position: Machine Operator, 3rd Shift
  • Pay: $24.52/hour - $30.51/hour (wage range reflects base pay. There is a shift differential of an additional $1.50/hour for 3rd shift)
  • Schedule: Sunday Evening- Friday Morning, 10:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m

About the Role:  We are hiring a Machine Operator, 3rd shift (10pm – 6:30am). In this role, you will operate grinding machinery and support daily production by loading and unloading parts, monitoring quality, and making minor machine adjustments. This position is ideal for someone who takes initiative, pays attention to detail, and wants to build valuable manufacturing skills in a team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Retrieve stock and materials according to production schedules
  • Load and unload drills and parts from machines
  • Make minor machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Inspect parts and verify specifications using job cards
  • Use measuring tools such as micrometers, rulers, and scopes
  • Communicate machine status and quality concerns with Setups and Leads
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and understand safety rules, procedures, and work instructions
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work full-time and meet attendance expectations

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Frequent use of hands to handle drill bits and parts
  • Visual ability to inspect and verify quality (close vision, depth perception, color vision, etc.)
  • Ability to pass a post-offer physical demonstrating essential job functions
  • Ability to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen
