Job Summary

The Security Greeter is responsible for greeting and welcoming all guests to the Casino and Resort, answering questions, and giving directions to the appropriate person or location. Ensures alcohol does not enter or exit the venue and reports all suspicious activity to Security.

Job Description

Greets all Guests or Team Members entering the casino with a friendly, upbeat, and professional attitude. Answers Guests' questions and directs them to the appropriate person or location. Acts as an ambassador and communicates important information about the casino including promotions, events, club benefits, all gaming area locations, restaurants, and VOC information. Informs Guests that alcohol cannot enter and/or exit the Casino and Resort.Notifies Security of any Guest who appears to be intoxicated and attempts to leave without a sober companion. Notifies Security of any Guest bringing in a suspicious object. Notifies Security of any Guest acting suspiciously. Checks identification of patrons for age requirement for gaming and alcohol purchase.Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained. Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.Does not provide supervisions to other team members.High school diploma or general education degree (GED). California Responsible Beverage Service Training required upon hire.Must be age 21 years of age or older.1 to 3 years of related experience preferred.Must have the ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally in the English language, including the ability to write reports that can be understood by the CEO, COO, General Manager, Tribal Council, legal staff, court officers, and law enforcement.Ability to work in a professional high-pressure environment while demonstrating and maintaining good personal relation/people skills and a positive attitude. Ability to multitask and work well under stress.Must be a self-starter and able to adjust to change.Must be able to work flexible hours during the day or evening including weekends, holidays, and all blackout dates.
