Job description

The Manager, Onsite Display & Video is responsible for supporting and advancing Best Buy's onsite display and video media channels across BestBuy.com and the Best Buy mobile app. This role combines media buying expertise, channel management, performance optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to drive growth within Best Buy's owned media ecosystem. Working closely with agency partners, sales teams, product teams, and analytics stakeholders, the manager develops channel strategies, optimizes performance, and improves the effectiveness of onsite media products and solutions. 
What you'll do 
  • Lead onsite display and video strategy across BestBuy.com and the Best Buy app, optimizing media performance, advertiser outcomes, customer experience, and revenue growth. 
  • Own inventory and yield optimization, partnering with inventory, sales, and media teams to develop pricing, packaging, forecasting, and monetization strategies that maximize utilization and business value. 
  • Drive performance measurement and insights, defining success metrics, analyzing campaign and inventory performance, and translating data into actionable recommendations. 
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Analytics, Technology, Operations, and agency teams to align priorities, improve execution, and deliver effective advertising solutions. 
  • Shape product innovation and roadmap development by identifying market opportunities, evaluating emerging capabilities, supporting testing initiatives, and influencing future onsite advertising investments. 
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for onsite advertising, providing strategic guidance, industry best practices, and thought leadership to stakeholders across the organization. 

 Basic qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience in digital media, retail media, advertising strategy, media planning, ad operations, or related fields. 
  • 2+ years of hands-on-keyboard digital media planning/execution on platforms like Google Ad Manager (GAM). 
  • 2+ years' experience managing onsite advertising, display media, video advertising, or digital marketing programs.  
  • 2+ years' experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and influencing outcomes across teams. 

Preferred qualifications 
  • Experience with DSPs such as DV360, The Trade Desk, or Yahoo. 
  • Experience in retail media, ecommerce, or digital advertising environments. 
  • Knowledge of onsite display advertising, video advertising, audience targeting, inventory management, and yield optimization principles. 
  • Experience with attribution, incrementality testing, or media measurement methodologies 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations. 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment
