Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Data Services Product Manager for a contract assignment with one of our premier Sports clients in Orlando, FL .
Must be local to Orlando and willing to work hybrid schedule.
Position Summary
  • We are seeking an entrepreneurial Product Manager to lead the design and development of a secure data services platform that enables organizations to seamlessly exchange information through APIs and standardized integrations.
  • Our vision is to create the trusted data connectivity layer for the industry-connecting organizations such as video streaming platforms, reservation systems, facility management software, league management systems, coaching platforms, and future technology partners.
  • This individual will own the product strategy, partner integration roadmap, API ecosystem, and developer experience while working closely with engineering, customers, and strategic partners.
Product Strategy
  • Define and execute the long-term product vision for a data connectivity platform.
  • Build a scalable integration ecosystem connecting multiple third-party platforms.
  • Prioritize roadmap based on customer value, partner adoption, and business strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to monetize APIs, data services, and platform capabilities.
Platform & API Design
  • Design secure APIs and data exchange standards.
  • Define data models, authentication, authorization, and permission frameworks.
  • Create developer-friendly integration documentation.
  • Ensure interoperability across multiple software vendors
Required Skills :
  • 7+ years in Product Management.
  • Experience building SaaS or platform products.
  • Deep understanding of REST APIs and modern integration architectures.
  • Experience working with engineering teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Preferred Skills :
  • Experience with API-first companies such as Plaid, Stripe, Twilio, Segment, or MuleSoft.
  • Experience with identity management, OAuth, OpenID Connect, or SSO.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and webhooks.
  • Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and security.
  • Experience launching developer platforms or partner ecosystems.
