Job Summary/Description:

WNDU is seeking a Creative Services Producer to join our award-winning promotions team. This full-production position is responsible for writing, shooting, and editing station image campaigns, local Commercials, news promotions, and community initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

WNDU is looking for a creative, motivated producer to join our award-winning Creative Services team. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys telling compelling stories through promotion and marketing. The Creative Services Producer is responsible for developing, shooting, writing, and editing high-impact promotional campaigns that support WNDU News, station initiatives, community events, and commercial production support. The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller who can manage projects from concept to completion while meeting daily deadlines.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Write, shoot, and edit promotional/commercial spots for WNDU.
• Collaborate closely with the Creative Services Director to develop fresh, engaging marketing campaigns that strengthen brands.
• Produce daily syndicated topicals, public service announcements, proof-of-performance spots, and other on-air and digital marketing materials under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with sales and clients on commercial production projects.
• Work closely with newsroom, sales, digital, and station leadership on cross-department initiatives.
• Capture compelling video and audio in the field using professional production equipment
• Edit content for broadcast, streaming, social, and digital platforms while maintaining high production standards.
• The successful candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong writing, shooting, lighting, and non-linear editing skills are essential.
• Broadcast promotion experience and knowledge of current video production workflows are preferred.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Highly skilled visual storyteller with demonstrated ability in production, writing, cinematography, and editing.
• Great communicator who can effectively collaborate across departments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Team player who is a self-starter and can work independently.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record, which meets company policies (will be verified as a condition of employment and checked regularly throughout employment).
