Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description:

The Production Associate performs a wide range of tasks to build electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies, including soldering, cable assembly, machine operation, final assembly, PCB work, machine crimping, and ribbon cable assembly.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform hand soldering of wires to electrical connectors and printed circuit boards (PCBs) using established procedures and quality standards.
  • Assemble electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies as required, including cable assemblies, ribbon cable assemblies, and related components.
  • Operate production and assembly equipment and machines safely and efficiently as part of the manufacturing process.
  • Review, complete, and maintain required production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Read and interpret moderately complex assembly instructions, blueprints, and work orders to perform assembly tasks correctly.
  • Follow written and verbal assignments, instructions, and priorities from production leads and supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in cross-training to support multiple areas of production as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in general production, assembly, or manufacturing roles.
  • Hands-on soldering experience, including soldering wires to electrical connectors and PCBs.
  • Experience with electronic assembly, including SMT and general soldering assembly tasks.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal assignments in a production environment.
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools
