Nortera Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our year-round frozen repackaging operations. This role ensures the production of safe, high-quality food products while upholding our commitment to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Pay range: $70,000 to $85,000
What You'll Do:
  • Lead Operations:Supervise shift leaders and hourly staff, ensuring optimal staffing, training, and compliance with food safety (FDA, SQF, HACCP) and safety regulations (OSHA, DHS).
  • Drive Results:Manage day-to-day repackaging operations to meet cost, quality, and productivity goals while supporting Nortera's low-cost producer program.
  • Foster Culture & Development:Champion Nortera's culture through active coaching, team development, and collaboration with HR, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics.

You will bring the following to the business:
  • Technical & Physical Readiness:Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility inventory systems; able to meet physical demands such as frequent lifting (up to 15 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs), standing, walking, and working in varying environmental conditions.
  • Leadership & Experience: Minimum of five years of progressive supervisory or management experience, ideally with an Associate's degree in Food Technology or related field and coursework in Supervision and Management.
  • Communication & Organization: Strong organizational skills, clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to adapt and lead effectively in a fast-paced, safety- and quality-driven environment
