Zeus Fire and Security was established in 2022 to build a national network of fire protection and security providers recognized for execution excellence across a variety of service lines and end markets. Zeus addresses customers' fire protection and security needs through a broad array of services from mission critical fire system installation, testing, and inspection to physical security system installation and video monitoring. Zeus was established with the purpose of partnering with industry-leading fire and security operators who are seeking a collaborative growth partner dedicated to inspiring and accelerating the long-term growth of business and team members.

Role Overview

  • Provide ongoing service, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and upgrades for electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, and alarm systems) to ensure continuous, reliable protection for customers.
  • Perform physical and technical implementation of company products and deliver high-quality service to maintain customer satisfaction and system uptime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and related components.
  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance, battery and siren testing, keypad programming, and component replacement.
  • Program, network, configure, and commission software and hardware as required.
  • Promptly report defective materials, equipment, or inaccuracies that may impact customer protection.
  • Demonstrate system operation to customers and explain causes/consequences of false alarms and system behavior.
  • Maintain accurate service records, complete work orders, and communicate clearly with supervisors and customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service aligned with company mission and standards.
  • May be required to respond to after-hours calls, weekends, and holidays (on-call responsibilities as assigned).

Qualifications

  • Preferred: 3-5+ years experience servicing Access Control and CCTV security systems for enterprise/industrial customers.
  • Alternative/entry-level: 1-2 years alarm service and low-voltage experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong networking and IT background; comfortable with IP networking, switches, VLANs, and basic server/client configurations.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems, reading schematics, and using diagnostic tools.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, manufacturer certifications) a plus.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Will work approximately 80% of the time in the field; travel between sites expected.
  • May be required to be on-call after normal hours and on weekends/holidays.
  • Frequent movement and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work in varied environments, including elevated positions, crawlspaces, and outdoors.
