About Footsteps with Jesus

Footsteps with Jesus is a walking and reflection app that allows users to follow Jesus’ ministry journey through scripture, narration, historical context, blessings, and reflection prompts. The app blends faith, storytelling, wellness, and technology to create meaningful experiences beyond traditional devotional tools. Developed by Timeless Traveler, the long-term vision includes immersive experiences centered on historical and spiritual figures.

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, self-directed Marketing Intern interested in social media, faith-based communication, storytelling, and digital marketing. This role will support efforts to grow awareness of Footsteps with Jesus, increase downloads, strengthen community engagement, and create content that resonates with audiences interested in faith, reflection, walking, and personal growth.

This internship is ideal for students interested in marketing, communications, social media strategy, religious studies, content creation, digital media, or startup environments.

Responsibilities

The intern may support projects including:

Social Media Marketing

  • Create and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
  • Research trends in faith-based, wellness, and app marketing spaces
  • Suggest strategies to increase engagement, followers, and app downloads
  • Track basic analytics and identify high-performing content

Content Creation

  • Develop captions, graphics, short-form video concepts, and promotional materials
  • Create inspirational or educational content connected to scripture, historical context, and reflection
  • Help draft newsletters, app updates, and website content
  • Assist in repurposing existing content into multiple formats

Faith-Based Content Support

  • Research scripture passages, historical context, and themes related to Jesus’ ministry
  • Help develop devotional-style or reflective social content aligned with the app’s mission
  • Contribute ideas for seasonal campaigns (Advent, Easter, Lent, Christmas, etc.)
