Overview

The Video Activation Supervisor leads the execution, investment, and optimization of national video campaigns across Linear, Streaming, CTV, and Digital Video. This role oversees the end-to-end buying process, ensuring campaigns are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with client objectives. Working closely with Planning, Analytics, APEX, and media partners, the Supervisor provides strategic guidance throughout campaign execution, identifies optimization opportunities, and translates performance insights into actionable recommendations. The role also provides day-to-day leadership and mentorship to Buyers and Associates while serving as a trusted resource for clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Video Investment & Activation

  • Lead the execution of national video campaigns across Linear, Streaming, CTV, and Digital Video.
  • Manage the end-to-end video buying process across assigned client portfolio.
  • Compile planning cost estimates and develop media investment recommendations.
  • Oversee negotiations conducted by Buyers to ensure competitive pricing and added value.
  • Review and approve all video buys prior to campaign launch.
  • Partner with APEX on Video Buying Solutions (VBS), preferred partnerships, and marketplace opportunities.
  • Develop and present final video buy recommendations to internal and client stakeholders.
  • Manage Digital, Linear, Streaming, and CTV partnerships to maximize campaign performance.
  • Oversee Buyers and Associates on campaign stewardship, pacing, delivery, and season-to-date reporting.
  • Proactively identify and resolve campaign execution issues while ensuring delivery against client objectives.

Campaign Performance & Optimization

  • Lead the post-campaign analysis process, identifying key performance insights and optimization opportunities.
  • Partner with Planning and Analytics teams to develop recurring campaign reporting and measure success against KPIs.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to improve future media investment and campaign effectiveness.
  • Monitor campaign delivery and performance, making proactive recommendations throughout the campaign lifecycle.

Client & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Serve as the primary activation contact for Planning teams, providing guidance on costs, creative requirements, programming opportunities, and campaign execution.
  • Build strong partnerships with Planning, Analytics, APEX, and external media vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Represent the Video Center of Excellence in internal and external discussions related to video strategy, marketplace trends, and best practices.
  • Participate in client meetings as needed and provide timely follow-up on action items and requests.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of clients' businesses, marketing objectives, and the evolving video marketplace.

Team Leadership

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Buyers and Associates.
  • Review team deliverables for quality and accuracy while ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing development of junior team members.
  • Foster collaboration by keeping stakeholders informed on project status and key milestones.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in media buying, activation, or investment, with a focus on video.
  • 2+ years of experience across Digital Video, Streaming, CTV, and/or Linear media.
  • Previous experience mentoring or leading junior team members.
  • Strong understanding of the national video marketplace, including traditional and emerging media channels.
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate campaign performance into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external media partners.
  • Experience with media planning, buying, and reporting platforms is preferred.
  • Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or HCP/DTC marketing experience is a plus.

ย Compensation Range: USD $60,800.00 - USD $84,000.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
