About Opportunity: Global Cybersecurity (GCS) protects client and its clients from the impact of cyber-attacks against systems by understanding the risks these attacks present and mitigating them through a robust, continuously evolving, cybersecurity program and control environment. Reporting to the Head of Identity & Access Management, the Head of Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), MD will lead the strategic direction, development, and implementation of the bank's CIAM program. This role is critical in ensuring the secure management of customer identities, authentication, and authorization across all customer access channels. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments, including IT, marketing, and customer service, to enhance the bank's digital presence and improve customer engagement. Other responsibility areas are listed below.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the CIAM strategy to support the bank's digital transformation and customer engagement goals.
  • Program Management: Oversee the implementation of CIAM solutions, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure strong authentication mechanisms, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), are in place to verify customer identities accessing sensitive information or performing critical transactions
  • Customer Experience: Enhance the customer experience by providing seamless, secure, and personalized interactions across all channels
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate CIAM solutions with existing systems and processes.
  • Risk Management: Regularly review and update customer access controls and maintain adherence to our cyber controls assurance requirements.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Integrate monitoring and logging of customer access activities to with our cyber defense centre to detect and respond to any suspicious or unauthorized activities.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in CIAM to continuously improve the bank's capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in identity and access management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of CIAM principles and best practices. Experience with implementing MFA and other authentication mechanisms. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are preferred.
  • Key Competencies: Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve strategic goals. Customer Focus: Commitment to enhancing the customer experience through secure and efficient identity management. Transformation: Ability to drive transformation in a complex environment Collaboration: Strong ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
