Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Product Management, the Senior Product Manager will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll-out documentation requirements across the product lifecycle for our franchise strategies for our licensed product lines that deliver on the company's vision and strategy.

This role will be critical in achieving Aspyr's company vision and values by collaborating with publishing, development, and finance stakeholders to align sound business plans, franchise development strategies, and marketing executions for product delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in game development product management, a strong business acumen, deep understanding of game and player data, and an obsession with high quality video games.

Essential Functions:
  • Forge positive and effective relationships and maintain product alignment across the organization
  • Work closely with Head of Product Management to ensure internal teams are aligned with and adhering to product lifecycle roadmap
  • Collaborate with the product team to establish, maintain, and regularly update a centralized, authoritative source of documentation for the entire product lifecycle
  • Partner with product team & project leads to implement long-term franchise strategy, with forecasted products, and post-launch content, providing strategic guidance to adjust roadmaps if scope changes
  • Work closely with marketing, creative, and sales teams to maximize market impact for our franchise(s) in a way that aligns with the company values, providing plans for how to maximize success post-launch
  • Accountable to company leadership for delivering franchise strategy aligned to business objectives
  • Ability to assess and problem-solve escalated project(s) concerns within each franchise in alignment with the company values, vision, and strategy
  • Work closely with IP holders for greenlight and pre-production to ensure brand standards are set for a predictable roadmap and approval timeline
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience in product management with previous experience in a video game production/product role
  • 5+ years of experience in video game development with titles across modern gaming platforms (PC,Xbox One, PS4, Switch)
  • Experience managing small teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to estimate, propose, and validate business cases, budgets, P&L (profits & losses), and the financial risks for video game development and publishing
  • Demonstrated success in communicating effectively with all levels of the organization, key external partners, and external press
  • Organized and focused individual with strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
  • Ability to make thoughtful decisions quickly and balance what is right for the company, the product, the players, and the partners
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful franchise throughout its lifecycle
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams
