Duties

  • Transcribe audio and video recordings into clear, accurate text following specified transcription formatting standards
  • Edit and proofread transcripts to ensure grammatical correctness, consistency, and adherence to style guides such as the Chicago Manual of Style
  • Annotate transcripts with relevant metadata, timestamps, speaker labels, and contextual notes to facilitate content understanding
  • Utilize transcription software and word processing tools efficiently to produce high-quality outputs
  • Review and refine transcriptions for accuracy, clarity, and completeness through meticulous proofreading and editing
