Job description

Port Orchard Ford is looking for a creative, dependable, and highly organized person to join our team as a Vehicle Photographer & Social Media Coordinator.

This position is responsible for photographing our vehicle inventory, managing our social media presence, creating engaging dealership content, and providing scheduled reception coverage. We need someone who takes pride in their work, notices the details, and can consistently represent our dealership in a professional and positive way.

Responsibilities include:

• Photograph newly arrived vehicles daily
• Ensure vehicle photos are high quality, consistent, and uploaded promptly
• Coordinate with the sales and detail teams to keep inventory photography current
• Identify and correct missing, outdated, or poor-quality vehicle photos
• Manage the dealership’s social media accounts and content calendar
• Create and publish engaging photos, videos, Reels, and short-form content
• Develop content featuring vehicle highlights, new arrivals, special offers, employee spotlights, customer appreciation, dealership events, and community involvement
• Help employees feel comfortable participating in social media content
• Monitor comments and messages and ensure they receive a timely response
• Track content performance and look for ways to improve engagement
• Provide scheduled reception coverage on Mondays and during lunch breaks
• Greet customers, answer incoming calls, and direct customers to the appropriate department
• Maintain a consistent and professional dealership image both online and in person
• Assist with other marketing and administrative projects as needed

The ideal candidate:

• Is creative, energetic, and comfortable approaching employees and customers for content
• Has strong photography and video skills
• Understands Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and short-form video content
• Can edit photos and videos using common mobile or desktop applications
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Can manage multiple responsibilities without constant supervision
• Communicates professionally in person, over the phone, and online
• Is dependable and understands that inventory photography must be completed consistently
• Is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in changing weather
• Has a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record because moving dealership vehicles is an essential part of this position
• Previous automotive, photography, marketing, social media, or customer service experience is helpful but not required

Compensation:

• Hourly pay range: $18 to $20 per hour
• Additional monthly bonus opportunity based on overall dealership sales performance
• Bonuses are performance-based and are not guaranteed

Benefits:

• Medical, dental, and vision coverage
• Paid time off and paid holidays
• 401(k) or retirement plan
• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts

This is not a position where you simply take a few photos and make an occasional post. We are looking for someone who will take ownership of our inventory presentation and consistently find ways to tell the story of our vehicles, employees, customers, dealership, and community. Photos are taken on a phone using a program to guide you, so it is actually really easy.

Port Orchard Ford is an award-winning, community-focused dealership with a strong team culture. Our goal is to provide a quick, transparent, and less complicated experience while becoming the most referred dealership in the industry.

If you are creative, organized, dependable, comfortable working with customers, and ready to help bring our dealership to life online, we would like to meet you.

To apply, please submit your resume along with examples of photography, video, or social media content you have created.
