Job description

Job Title: International Content Coordinator (Part-Time)
Department: Digital Media
Reports To: Social Content Coordinator
SUMMARY
The Seattle Seahawks are seeking a part-time International Content Coordinator to support our global marketing efforts with an emphasis on social media content. We are looking for a social-first thinking, creative, collaborative person who is passionate about sports and content creation. This is a part-time, year-round position averaging 28 hours per week, the majority of which will be spent at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton, Washington.
The primary responsibility of the role will be to coordinate with both internal and external parties to create engaging content for international fans, which includes but is not limited to Germany, Canada and Spanish-speaking countries. This position will help manage content calendars for a variety of international accounts, working with contractors and/or agencies to ideate and execute ideas that will resonate with key international audiences. One hour could be spent working with players to record messages for Canada Day to live on our @SeahawksCanada account, while the next could be spent uploading German and Spanish-language caption files to Seahawks videos on YouTube.
This position will play a critical role in ensuring the content meets the Seahawks' brand standards across various accounts while also following social media best practices. Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively across different time zones is essential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the Seahawks digital media team, contractors and agencies in developing content plans for international Seahawks fans with emphasis on Germany, Canada and Spanish-speaking countries
  • Assist in the management of a content calendar for international social media accounts
  • Capture photo and video content as necessary for international content purposes
  • Work with internal departments (Public Relations, Corporate Partnerships, Community Engagement, Marketing, etc.) in fulfilling content needs as requested
  • Utilize project management tools to ensure content is produced efficiently
  • Coordinate effectively with international teams across multiple time zones, which may include working irregular hours to accommodate global partners
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Above average fluency with Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, Facebook and other popular social media platforms, as well as their analytics
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud (namely Photoshop, Premiere)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of content production for social: timeliness, speed, length, trends, etc.
  • Knowledge of the Seattle Seahawks-both current and historical-as well as the NFL landscape to form thoughtful discussion
  • Familiarity with a project management system
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • While not a requirement for the role, familiarity with German and/or Spanish is a plus
  • Interest and experience in the sports industry is a plus
