Vice President, CMW Strategies 

New York City, Full Time 

Compensation: $140K to $175K Annually

CMW Strategies is New York’s leading government relations and strategy firm, trusted by global and regional companies, leading non-profits, innovative start-ups, influential trade associations and world renowned cultural institutions for more than three decades. CMW has been a top-ten lobbying firm in New York City for over a decade and is now proudly a top-twenty NYS lobbying firm.


We are seeking a Vice President that will manage a portfolio of clients and work alongside experienced lobbyists and professionals to advance the firm’s mission to provide service excellence in city and state government relations and to support the greater New York region. This high level position provides a talented and experienced professional with the opportunity to join an exciting and rapidly growing firm with a portfolio of leading clients, industries and leaders in all corporate and non-profit sectors.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Provide strategic direction and lead government relations campaigns 
  • Work with coalition stakeholders
  • Draft and disseminate materials including legislative and funding memos
  • Contribute to the firm’s business development
  • Participate in conferences, political events, seminars and business events to manage clients, build contacts and represent the firm
  • Support the firm’s partners and principals

Qualifications, Training and Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in government, government relations or public policy
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of Google platforms, Zoom, Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Experience using social media
