Vice President & Trust Officer
Are you a relationship-driven trust professional with a passion for delivering exceptional service to high-net-worth clients? The National Bank of Indianapolis is seeking a Vice President & Trust Officer to manage and grow a portfolio of trust and fiduciary relationships.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor overseeing complex account administration, coordinating with internal and external partners, and delivering highly personalized service. You'll play a key role in deepening client relationships while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer trust, fiduciary, and investment management accounts
  • Serve as primary relationship manager for clients and coordinate with advisors and internal teams
  • Oversee account activity, distributions, reporting, and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Manage complex assets, including real estate and unique holdings
  • Support estate settlement and life-event account transitions
  • Supervise and develop support staff (as assigned)
  • Build relationships with centers of influence to drive new business

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of trust administration or related experience
  • Professional designation (CTFA, CFP, CPA, or JD) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of fiduciary regulations and trust operations
  • Proven relationship management and business development skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
