Required skills include gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, lap band, laparoscopic assisted cases, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, carotid angioplasty, carotid endarterectomy, endovascular aneurysm repair, femoral popliteal bypass graft, direct laryngoscopy, radical neck dissection, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, tracheostomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection - open/lap, hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, laparoscopic assisted procedures, mastectomy, thyroidectomy partial/total, anterior/posterior repair (colporrhaphy), bilateral tubal ligation, cervical cerclage, dilation & curettage, laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures, anterior cervical fusion, cervical fusions, craniotomy, insertion of VP shunt, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, XLIF (extreme lateral interbody fusion), carpal tunnel release, closed/open reduction of fractures, spinal fusion, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, mastectomy with tram flap reconstruction, bunionectomy, hallux vagus arthroplasty/arthrodesis, metatarsal surgery, colorectal robotic surgery, Da Vinci Xi surgical system, mediastinoscopy, VATS, cystoscopy, laparoscopic assisted cases, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, ureteroscopy, knowledge of decontamination and sterilization process and indicators, aseptic technique, sharps safety, universal protocol (time out) procedure *CST required unless traveler has worked as a tech in NY prior to 2015. Years of experience required: 3 - 3 yrs plus experience is preferred. We have 12 service lines. Unit accepts 1st time traveler: no. Locals accepted: N (must be > 50 miles from facility). Call required: Y. Weekend shifts per contract: 6 shifts for each 8wk time block to include weekends and holidays.
