As the, VP, Divisional Finance for our Mid Atlantic Division, you will develop and execute financial strategies that support growth, profitability, and long-term business objectives, overseeing multiple mega projects along with regional work in North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland.   • Lead all financial operations for the division, serving as a strategic business partner to the Division EVP and District Vice Presidents.
  • Provide executive financial oversight for a diverse portfolio of regional and mega infrastructure projects.
  • Direct the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including year-end close, audits, cost reporting, reconciliations, and management reporting.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, overhead planning, and cost allocation across the division.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends and risks, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational performance.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, general ledger reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain effective financial controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury functions, and asset management to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Partner with operations leaders to support project financial performance, forecasting, and commercial decision-making.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing divisional finance organization while driving continuous process improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline required; CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.\
  • 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience within the engineering and construction industry, including oversight of large, complex project portfolios.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with executive operational leaders to drive financial performance, profitability, and strategic business decisions.
  • Proven experience leading finance organizations supporting geographically dispersed operations with annual revenues exceeding $1B.
  • Extensive knowledge of project accounting, percentage-of-completion accounting, forecasting, work-in-progress reporting, and cost-to-complete analysis.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting alternative delivery projects, joint ventures, and major infrastructure pursuits across multiple contract delivery models.
  • Proven ability to develop high-performing finance teams, mentor senior leaders, and build scalable financial processes across a large regional business.
  • Exceptional financial planning, forecasting, cash flow management, and working capital management experience within a project-based construction environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify financial risk, challenge project assumptions, influence executive decision-making, and drive operational accountability through data-driven insights.
  • Executive presence with outstanding communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
