Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

About This Job

The Senior Vice President (SVP), Self-Directed Trading Platform Management is an executive leader responsible for the strategy, growth, and performance of a selfdirected trading business. This role owns the trading channel endtoend, including platform modernization, product innovation, and gotomarket execution.
The SVP will partner closely with senior leaders across Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, and Banking to deliver a strong client experience while driving sustainable growth and profitability. The ideal candidate brings deep trading or fintech leadership experience, a strong product mindset, and a proven ability to scale platforms and teams in a dynamic financial services environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and manages the consumer retail trading business(Self-Directed Trading)
  • Expand investment portfolio by defining strategic roadmap, implementing investment products, and enhancing processes and systems
  • Partners in overseeing departmental P&L performance and guiding the annual budget development and implementation process
  • Contributes to the overall profitability of the organization; implements cost controls, income generation and marketing efforts; monitors expenses to ensure compliance with budget.
  • Partner with technology, marketing, compliance and other key stakeholders to deliver on strategic initiatives
  • Work with Executive team to integrate trading tools into our mobile and desktop digital platform to deliver to a seamless banking and trading experience for our clients
  • Overseesmanagement reporting, which enables more definitive reviews of the portfolio
  • Ensure that audits are in full regulatory compliance by allowing for a detailed review of processes and systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active FINRA Series 7 license preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in trading, investments, or financial services
  • Proven product development experience in a fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrated success in leadership, business growth, and sales performance
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to excel in a collaborative, teambased environment
  • Highly professional, consultative sales and clientservicing approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with investment clients and/or sophisticated business decisionmakers
  • Experience with Salesforce, Orion, VEO, or comparable platforms preferred
  • Fintech experience is a plus
