Summary:

Aquatech is a global leader in water purification systems technology for both industrial and infrastructure markets located in the United States and internationally. We support our clients with sustainable water purification systems and technologies that are solving the world's water scarcity challenges.

Aquatech has an immediate need for a full-time Project Engineer IWS to work in our Canonsburg, PA office. The hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Project/Field Engineer- IWS will report to the IWS Manager and will perform the duties described in the job description below,w and will be considered an Exempt employee.

The ideal candidate will have excellent math skills, applied creativity, mechanical skills, problem-solving skills, be team-oriented, customer service-driven, and have attention to detail. This candidate will also have experience in a project-related industry.

Job Description

  • Review of Project specifications
  • Create data sheets for equipment, valves, instruments, etc. Based on the project scope and the process flow diagram.
  • Maintain the Project Master document list.
  • Be the single point of contact to the customer from a project execution perspective.
  • Get approval from customers for project-related drawings.
  • Review quotes received from respective vendors and send to purchasing for Purchase Orders.
  • Maintain a bill of materials for items purchased for the project.
  • Track shipment and delivery of items from and from fabricator.
  • Visitthe vendor location to inspect the skids for the project when needed.
  • Attend customer meetings as required.
  • Prepare a project schedule to update the customer and respective departments on the project process on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure the project is run within budget and explore all possibilities to bring the budget within the limit in case of an anticipated overrun.
  • Be conversant with the water treatment equipment, such as Ultrafiltration, Reverse Osmosis, and Ion Exchange processes.
  • Visit the site to support the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of equipment (Permanent supply or rental equipment) supplied by Aquatec.

Skill Requirements:

  • Able to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret process flow diagrams.
  • Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD engineering drawings and P&IDs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work with multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks or projects with attention to detail.
  • Ability to use MS Office software at a high level of proficiency.
  • Experience using basic AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Be conversant with the water treatment equipment, such as Ultrafiltration, Reverse Osmosis, and Ion Exchange processes.
  • Knowledge of water treatment equipment like Clarifiers, Ultrafilters, Reverse Osmosis, and Ion exchange process.
  • Knowledge of ZLD equipment like Brine Concentrators, Crystallizers, Belt Filter Press, etc., and Wastewater equipment like MBBR, D AF, etc. is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC programming is a plus.
