Job description

Vice President, Data Analytics & System Integrations

The Vice President of Data Analytics & System Integrations will lead the strategy, development, and execution of Pinnacle MEP’s data, reporting, and systems integration capabilities across a growing portfolio of operating companies. This role is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, standardizing reporting across OpCos, and ensuring seamless integration of key business systems to drive operational efficiency, scalability, and informed decision-making.

This leader will partner closely with executive leadership, finance, operations, and IT to build a data-driven organization and support Pinnacle’s growth strategy, with a strong emphasis on leveraging platforms such as Power BI and BuildOps to enhance visibility and performance across the business.

Data Strategy & Analytics

  • Develop and execute a company-wide data and analytics strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Build and oversee centralized reporting and dashboarding across all OpCos, with a strong focus on Power BI
  • Design and implement scalable Power BI reporting solutions to provide real-time visibility into operational and financial performance
  • Translate operational and financial data into actionable insights to drive performance
  • Establish KPIs and standardized metrics across business units

Systems Integration & Optimization

  • Lead integration of core systems (ERP, CRM, field service management, HRIS) across OpCos
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in BuildOps, optimizing its use across the platform and ensuring alignment with reporting and operational needs
  • Evaluate and implement tools to improve data visibility and system connectivity
  • Partner with IT and external vendors to ensure scalable, efficient system architecture
  • Drive post-acquisition system integration for new OpCos, including BuildOps adoption and data standardization

Operational & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with OpCo leadership to understand operational needs and improve reporting capabilities
  • Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, performance tracking, and data accuracy
  • Support M&A efforts through data integration and reporting alignment
  • Act as a key advisor to executive leadership on data-driven decision making

Data Governance & Quality

  • Establish and maintain data governance standards and best practices
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across platforms, including BuildOps and other core systems
  • Develop processes for data validation, auditing, and continuous improvement

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing analytics and systems team
  • Manage internal resources and external partners/consultants
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or systems integration, with progressive leadership responsibility
  • Experience in a PE-backed, multi-entity, or roll-up environment strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of building scalable data infrastructure and reporting frameworks
  • Advanced experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and visualization best practices
  • Direct experience working with BuildOps, including system optimization, reporting, and integration
  • Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, and field service platforms (e.g., ServiceTitan, NetSuite, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Experience leading system integrations in M&A environments
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data to operational and financial outcomes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
