Position Title: Accounting Specialist
Location: Huntsville, AL
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview
The Tolliver Group, Inc. (TTGI) is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the Vice President of Finance and Accounting with day-to-day accounting operations. This role will assist with financial reconciliations, travel and expense review, and other accounting functions that support accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with general accounting tasks including account reconciliations and financial record maintenance
  • Review and reconcile employee travel expenses and related documentation
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
  • Assist with processing transactions and resolving discrepancies
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Finance and Accounting to support accounting operations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations
  • Provide administrative and reporting support for accounting processes as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required
  • 3+ years of accounting or finance experience preferred
  • Unanet experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software
