Impact You'll Make:

This is a key role for the Global Consumer Solutions (GCS) leadership team to lead product Consumer platform, Credit Monitoring and Identity for TransUnion's Consumer Solutions Products globally.

This role will be responsible for the creation and delivery of the strategy and roadmap for Consumer Solutions Products that meet market requirements across US and Global. This role ensures the viability and performance of our suite of Consumer products as well as alignment to U.S. and global objectives and strategies. The role reports directly to the EVP of Global Consumer Solutions.

This role will create a consistent Way of Working (WoW) and standardized Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) across Global Consumer Solutions.

Key roles reporting to this leader will be the Head of Platform, Head of Consumer Credit Monitoring and Head of Consumer Identity Protection, as well as the design/UI/UX team. This role will work closely with the US Market leader, the US Head of Marketing, the broader Global Consumer Solutions Leadership Team, as well as Sales, Finance, etc. and the C-Suite to ensure alignment across solution, market and enterprise level strategies.

With overall responsibility for revenue and growth for Consumer core products, credit and identity across all geos, the leader in this role will display competencies that span multiple disciplines including understating market and user needs, developing product strategies, financial planning, product backlog prioritization, GTM, commercialization and localization of global capabilities. Some of these areas will be within the direct remit of the role while others will be led and influenced indirectly by effectively leveraging and maximizing our matrix organization.

Understanding market and user needs

  • Identify market trends and develop International Consumer strategies to address market trends, resulting in increased market share.
  • Equally you will be responsible for early identification of any market trends that could negatively impact the U.S. and/or global business and developing strategy to mitigate against the risk
  • Your deep domain expertise and customer engagement will ensure you provide voice of customer feedback to the product teams to drive new innovation
  • You will personally represent GCS in significant external engagements across all media, conference speaking, hosting roundtables, press releases, whitepapers, blogs. You also represent Credit for all significant internal events (e.g., Advisory Boards, Summits, etc.) providing deep knowledge, insight and voice of customer perspective for the Credit markets

Developing product strategies

  • You will drive adoption and evolution of PDLC within the GCS family of product
  • You will drive the development of the product strategy for the Consumer Platforms, Consumer Credit and Identity Protection products that incorporates GTM, Product and aligns with Global strategy objectives for each product pillar
  • You will define robust business cases with clear ROI and business metrics to acquire resource needed to exploit any identified market trends and growth opportunities
  • You will be the senior leader of GCS for the core products and will be expected to represent TransUnion as needed in senior client engagements. Your ability to speak at this level will ensure TU is seen as credible and you will drive the conversation to uncover opportunities aligned to TU solutions efficiently
  • You will be responsible for management and development of product talent in the GCS product teams

Financial planning, forecasting and capital management

  • You will be responsible for collaboration with matrix partners to drive a top-down revenue plan and will partner with Sales to build bottom-up plan that aligns with the goals of the US and Global Consumer Pillar objectives
  • Monitor and report to leadership on revenue performance against plan
  • Tell the story internally by being a key presenter to C-Suite (CM1), Head of Global Solutions and other executives in monthly finance reviews, quarterly business reviews and in our annual 3-year strategic planning cycle

Product roadmap and backlog management

  • You will work closely with the GCS pillar heads to influence the product roadmap across new and existing products, ensuring that products are managed throughout their lifecycle, including sunset
  • You will have direct leadership responsibilities for delivering the Core Consumer Platform, Consumer Credit and Identity Protection for our US and Global markets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional counterparts in Global Technology, Data Science and Analytics to develop and effectively manage a unified global roadmap across the product portfolio
  • Monitor costs and maintain them within agreed targets, when appropriate, develop cost reduction strategies for International

Go-to-Market Planning and Execution

  • You will be a domain expert in the Consumer Credit and Identity Protection market with a deep understanding of market challenges in addition to being well connected across senior stakeholders at various customers and prospects. You will use this foundation to engage and collaborate with your US and Global functional GTM colleagues to support the broader Consumer business needs (market planning, product marketing, R&C, marketing and training and development)
  • You will oversee the Global Consumer Solutions Engineering team, bringing together deep subject matter expertise in TU and customer technology systems, and significant experience in implementing complex solutions with customers to minimize time to market and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • In addition to supporting sales engagements as needed, you will work with the Sales and vertical teams to proactively develop sector-specific GTM and sales plans; and work with the Sales teams to ensure pipeline growth and conversion is sufficient to meet/exceed revenue growth
  • Ensure product training and upskilling of the sales teams supporting Global Consumer solutions. You will be responsible for championing the cause for value propositions, value selling, solution selling, etc.
  • Ensure products are compliant with US regulatory and privacy requirements

Pay Scale Information :The U.S. base salary range for this position is $193,500.00 - $406,500.00 *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
